Gem Imports commissions a purpose built showroom at their brand new distribution centre
Gem Imports, the UK’s premier online importer and wholesale supplier of discount product ranges and pound lines, embarked on a mission to enhance the retail experience for their clients. With a commitment to delivering design-led value products at unbeatable wholesale prices, Gem Imports recognised the need for a dedicated showroom that would not only showcase their extensive product lines but also provide invaluable insights for retailers on optimising their merchandise displays.
Design Concept:
Understanding the importance of visual merchandising in driving sales, Gem Imports partnered with Oaks to design and build a purpose-built showroom. The design concept focused on creating a dynamic space where clients could look around at the product offerings, gaining inspiration for their own retail environments. Central to the design was the integration of in-situ displays, allowing buyers to envision how the products would appear in their own stores.
Design Process:
To keep disruption to a minimum the showroom was designed, made and constructed off site in the Oaks workshop and delivered in modular sections, this meant it could be easily fitted together on site. Every element of the space was carefully considered to highlight the individual product ranges. From innovative display fixtures to strategic layout planning, the showroom was optimised to provide an optimal shopping experience for buyers seeking to maximise sales potential.
